Creating events

• Community members organize events with a title, date/time, and details.
• Events appear on the community's shared calendar.

RSVP

You can respond to events (yes / maybe / no) so the organizer can plan. Your response and the event details are only visible to community members.

Your personal calendar overlay

Townwell combines your community events with your own personal calendar into one merged view, so you can see your whole schedule in one place:

• Community events from every community you belong to (read-only views into each community).
• Your personal events — private items only you can see (see the Personal layer guide).
• Your own reservations of community shared resources (booked items from the Reservations guide) also appear here.

Your personal events, and the exact dates/times of everything you create, are end-to-end encrypted — so even Townwell can't read event details from the server.
